She has been coined the “Godmother of Modern Surf Art” by the Los Angeles Times and has gained the respect and admiration of her fellow artists and surf icons around the world. Heather Brown’s art has become a benchmark in the global surf art market, finding its way into collector’s homes around the world.

Since her life-changing decision to work as a full-time artist, Heather’s following has grown exponentially. She was voted “Best Up and Coming Artist in Hawai‘i” by readers of the Honolulu Weekly in 2007, and then “Best Artist in Hawai‘i” for the next three consecutive years! She earned the Rip Curl “Artist of the Search” title for five consecutive years, garnering herself a clothing line, “Heather Brown for Rip Curl”. In April 2013, she won $10,000 in the Verizon 4G4Hope contest for the Kōkua Hawai‘i Foundation. Now her shows and appearances are always sure to draw crowds of fans, eager to meet this very talented woman and have their art signed by the artist herself.  Through the years, Heather has held overwhelmingly successful events in her native Hawai’ian Islands, throughout the mainland USA and during her tours across the globe to Japan and Australia.
