Heather Brown Art has officially joined the VANS wagon.

 

 

Hawaii Surf Artist Heather Brown has gained a lot of popularity in recent years for her iconic surf imagery.  Each painting dances across the canvas with bright stained glass textures. Vans Japan has collaborated with Heather Brown to create a “Classic Slip-on” limited edition shoe with contrast print.

The entire top panel of the shoe is made using the artists “Shades of Hawaii #9” original artwork which she chose in homage to her life in the water surfing.  The insole features the Vans and Heather Brown logo, and is finished with a gum-waffle sole.

These shoes are limited to only 200 pairs and set to be released on July 19th, 2014. Samples can now be seen at Vans Japan in Osaka and Daikanyama.
